We look forward to partnering with you to share this Project with Students all over South Africa, The Database is called StudyVibz - Academic Database , Our Database enables users to access resources provided by various educational and vocation organisations in South Africa, including but not limited to the Department of Education, Department of Higher Education and Training, as well as various State-Owned Entities in South Africa
During the last few months, we have been piloting the StudyVibz Mobile App with a small group of students with android smart-phone devices and have seen a good user experience with students engaging with Tertiary Institutions, and generally engagement with the Mobile App resources . StudyVibz mobile App provides students with access to : Annual Educational Calender, Quarterly Examination Time Table, Past Examination Papers, Matric Results, Bursary Opportunities, Learnership Opportunities, University Applications, Colleges Applications, NSFAS Applications, Student Optimized Research Engine, E-Mail Account
We have seen measurable success in terms of end user functionality with over 100+ downloads with a 5/5 star rating by users in the first 3 weeks of piloting the android mobile application with a 0% crash rate report from users on our first pilot app and we are now seeking to expand our StudyVibz Mobile Application reach to address the needs of all High School Students and Academics In South Africa.
To download this mobile app a user needs, an android powered device (Version 4.4 Kitkat Oldest Version (2012) – to- the The Latest Version of Android ), internet connectivity and 48 MB Space storage on their device and for as little as 20MB (Data, Pre-paid or Contract) the user can interact with Application resources with any network provider. Most of the application resources require internet connectivity to download but after that process the user keeps the stored data for so long as they need at no charge to them. All the information is free of charge to access and download by the students.
